Rylee's Party!

A BIG thank you goes out to everyone that came to Rylee's very first party! We received so many wonderful gifts to help prepare for her arrival. Josh and I are beyond grateful for all of the well wishes and sweet gestures. It's pretty obvious that our little angel is going to be SO loved by all of our friends and family. We truly are blessed.

Rylee's Room!

It's really starting to come together now. I can't believe that in just a few short months, we will have our precious baby girl to hold...

Baby Bump at 21 Weeks!

Here it is! :) I feel like it is growing exponentially by the day! 

PAINT!!

Well, Josh and I have finally agreed on a paint color for baby Rylee's room. Here it is!

I like it because it's not too bright and baby-ish. I cannot wait to start getting the room ready. YAY!!!

19 Week 3D Ultrasound

Here she is! We had a 3D ultrasound this morning and we were able to see our precious little girl...until she curled up into a tiny ball and buried her head into my placenta. She had her knees to her nose and at one point was in a total pike position with her legs straight up, blocking her face. I'm really not surprised since almost every ultrasound we've done, she's tried to cover her face. I guess our little angel is just shy like her mama.  The sonographer said her feet were very big and she is weighing about 12 ounces. It was so cool to be able to see her with such detail. I can't wait until she is actually here for us to hold. In the meantime, she's enjoying the "placenta pillow" and taking it easy. ;)

Baby Girl's Room

The fun has begun!! We have finally started to get things moving with the nursery. I am leaning towards a garden theme, something not too girly or baby-ish. I like the more sophisticated look. I made some letters out of twigs and flowers for wall decorations and I have so many other ideas. I can't wait until we get the room painted...if Josh and I can ever agree on a color. It is so amazing to think that in 21 week, we will have a precious little girl to share this room with. I am SO lucky and already in love.

19 Weeks!

Well, I can definitely see the belly. According to all of the books, our sweet baby girl is about the size of an heirloom tomato. I can tell she is getting bigger because I can finally feel some movement from her. Yesterday I was driving to Taco Bell (yes, I know, I should be eating healthy foods...but beans are good for you) and I could feel her moving. I think she is going to like beans as much as her mama! I am getting so excited thinking that I am almost halfway through the pregnancy; only 21 weeks to go! :)

IT'S A GIRL!

We went to the doctor today at 17 weeks and discovered that the precious little thing growing inside of me is a GIRL!! She was kicking and doing flips the whole time (she must really like apple juice). She is measuring a couple days ahead of schedule and her heart was beating at 143 beats/minute. I can't believe we are going to have a little daddy's girl! Let the shopping commence! :)

Oh please, NO!

Yep, this was taken at Gameworks while Josh and I were still in high school. :) It was a photo booth that morphed the two of us into what our future child would look like. I really hope not...Coming across things like this remind me how lucky I really am. I am so glad I have the man I love and we have so much to be thankful for. I mean, who woulda thought that we would still be going strong after all these years with a baby on the way...I guess it was in the stars. :)

First Belly Pic!

So here it is! This is at 14 weeks. :) Some would say that I have no belly, but they would be WRONG! HAHA! I can definitely feel a little tightness in the pants that I didn't have before. Plus, I am still down 7 lbs from pre-pregnancy weight so I know it's not because I'm eating too much...it's all belly. ;) I can't wait until I can start feeling some movement in there! 

Baby Asanovich Stretching!

This was the baby at 12 weeks. Baby sure likes Strawberry Fanta because "it" was jumping, bouncing, kicking and hitting by the time we saw it. :) It was literally the most adorable thing I have ever seen. This photo was snapped just as baby was stretching it's arms and legs. It is SO insane to know that this tiny little baby is going to be in our arms in a matter of months. We are beyond excited! Unreal.

Baby Asanovich's First Photo!

We had the first ultrasound on 6/17/2010 which was week #8. It was the most nerve-racking experience EVER. Did you know that you have to drink 32 oz of water and hold it for over an hour???? This was nearly impossible, but I made it. Josh was still in Canada playing baseball so we got him on iChat so he was able to hear and see what was happening. I was lucky enough to have the support of Auntie Adrea, Grandma Bradley, Julie and Lauren there with me. Honestly, it was the most breathtaking experience. The baby's heart was racing-176 beats per minute! It was excited to be seen. ;)

HOLY COW, We're Having a Baby!!

Well, the time has come...and we are SOOOOOO excited! :) It's hard to believe that after over a decade together, we are finally having a baby! Can you believe there is going to be a mini combo of US??!! HA! The estimated due date is January 21, 2011. Watch out world, here comes another Asanovich!
