If you ask someone what he or she thinks the definition of love is, you will most likely get the standard “butterfly” story or an old idea of what everyone thinks love should be. Nowadays, that kind of love is hard to come by. If you ask us what we think love is, you will get a real genuine feeling of what love really means. What we have is something that people search their entire lives to find. We met one another for the first time during our sophomore year in high school. We had an English class together. As it turned out, Josh and I actually lived a few miles apart in a very small town when we were in grade school before my family moved away to Missouri. However, we never met until that fateful day in high school. I was definitely not looking for a boyfriend, but Josh’s persistence won me over. We began dating the following year and have been going strong ever since. We have, in each other, a companion, a rock, a comfort that is more real than anything I have ever felt. When you can go to bed at night knowing that no matter the biggest problem, everything is going to be just fine for the simple fact that you have a person by your side that makes everything bad disappear, life cannot be any sweeter. This is the love that we get to relish in every single day of our lives. This is a kind of love the world should know exists!
